Abstract

A simple band stop leaky wave antenna to filter out a 2.8 GHz has been designed and proposed in this paper. The notch filter realized by using a very short meander line,Ω shaped inductor in the stub length of the CRLH structure .A small rectangle of dimension 17 mm to 17mm2 is subtracted from the stub length of the unit cell Metamaterial antenna and meander line introduced. The improved structure and geometry are simulated and validated using HFSS. The results illustrate the notch created at 2.8 GHz by the filter radar spectrum from interfering with other devices.
