Abstract

Data Mining is one of the interdisciplinary fields on the research area. Association rule mining is a data mining technique that plays a vital role in the field of Bio-informatics. Microarray technology is extensively used by the researchers to extract meaningful relations among genes. In this research paper, new association method for microarray gene association analysis called Microarray Gene Expression Interval Association (MGEIA), based on gene expression intervals and association rules has been presented. It discovers the frequent patterns and extracts significant relations among microarray genes. Association rules reveal correlation among the genes and used to provide specific gene targeting treatments.
