In this paper a simple approach is proposed to detect the granular cell tumor. In this work we created one algorithm to solve different problems like image enhancement, compression, noise reduction. In this algorithm first we applied homomorphic filtering in space domain then pass the homomorphic filtered image through canny edge detector algorithm for twice then add high boost filtering in space domain. The whole procedure is applied in the granular cell tumor images. After getting the output image we calculate performance by the Pratt’s figure of merit rating factor and the calculated factor is very well.
