Abstract

sharing data in a secure manner is a key factor in the aspect of data storage. In this project we propose a new system called key aggregate cryptosystem (KAC), which produces constant size aggregate key for efficient data sharing, instead of sharing multiple keys for multiple files. This avoids the need to decrypt the shared files with multiple keys. The user encrypts the file using secret key before uploading. While sharing, the KAC system generates a single aggregate key and using this aggregate key the receiver decrypts and downloads multiple cipher text without increasing its size. Usage of this aggregate key has an additional advantage that it requires less memory space.
